Overview

The intention is
- to enable choir managers to co-ordinate their concert dates and avoid obvious conflicts,
- to provide a list of active choirs and other organisation including contact details for use by other choirs and potential recruits,
- to provide a facility where choirs can list their concerts for the interest of the paying public.

Method

I have provided two main pages. Click on the titles and they will open in a new window.

1. Choirs and add yours Trade

Provide details of you choir which you would like everybody to see. This is primarily to identify the choir contacts. No description is given eg. "small chamber choir concentrating on early French music. Audition only" but I could make provision for this if the demand is there (more work). This is already mentioned in Links if you are listed. I want to send people to your web-site or encourage them to lift the 'phone.

You are provided with a unique Password of your choosing so that you can add concert details. Updating facility is intended for the future but in the meantime, just e-mail me with changeswebmaster@choralsociety.org.uk

You also have a Username. This is your surname (Last name). I will not send you any confirmation of Registration because you'll see you entry appended in real time to the list.

Once you have registered, you will be able to add to following page.

2. Calendar and add your event (addevents2010new.php) Retail

This is open to the whole world. It is primarily a What's On page but provides a link for you to add events.

See your addition in real time. I hope to be able to provided you with an Update Form but this is even more techie than usual. In the meantime e-mail webmaster@choralsociety.org.uk with any changes which I will have to make manually on the remote server.
