Saturday 6th June fr om10am Bristol Choral Society present a huge Come & Sing Verdi Requiem with Adrian Partington, with evening concert with Bristol Concert Orchestra and soloists from Welsh National Opera

The day will start at 10am with a choral rehearsal, followed by an afternoon rehearsal together with orchestra (Bristol Concert Orchestra) and soloists from Welsh National Opera in preparation for an informal concert at 7:30pm, all under the inspirational baton of our superb conductor, Adrian Partington.
We hope to fill the hall with singers and leave a little room for an audience for the evening performance!
The aims of the day are to:
- Have fun and enjoy performing this thrilling piece with full orchestral accompaniment and professional soloists
- Raise funds for 2 local charities - all profits are to be donated to BRACE (supporting research into Alzheimer's) and The Julian Trust (supporting Bristol's homeless)
- To celebrate the opening of the Colston Hall's superb new multi-million pound foyer redevelopment
Singers of any standard are welcome - there will be plenty of singers there who know the work well to help out those who may not be so familiar with it - the main aim is to have fun! Scores will be available to hire on the day for £1 - please bring your own if you can!
